Due to illness, Art Garfunkel will no longer perform at the Andy Roddick Foundation Gala on Monday, November 9th.
The performer will now be renowned musical artist Seal, who has sold more than 20 million records worldwide. The singer-songwriter has reached international fame with hits: “Crazy,” “Kiss From a Rose,” and “Love’s Divine.” Ranging in style from R&B and soul to acoustic pop and dance, Seal is the winner of four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, and Best British Male in 1992.

"We hope Mr Garfunkel feels better soon, and we are thankful he was open to playing for our cause. I was panicked yesterday when we didn’t have a gala artist. I then got an innocent message from a dear, dear friend of mine simply checking in to see how I was doing generally. This friend also happens to be one of the most iconic artists of our time. Within two hours of our conversation, and after he had moved his entire work life around to help, Seal confirmed that he would step in for our cause. He’s a giant of a man, and we are so incredibly grateful to him. I consider Seal a brother, and am so humbled by him coming to play for us again. A stressful day turned into a happy, beautiful night."
