CG5 (born Charlie Green) is a name you may recognize from the iconic “Probably because I am CG5” TikTok sound, seen and liked by millions. The 27-year-old singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Arizona has built one of the internet’s largest independent music audiences, anchored by a YouTube channel that touts over 10.9 million subscribers and more than 4 billion views, making CG5 one of the platform’s leading music creators. To date, CG5 has amassed billions of streams across platforms, with 2.6+ million monthly listeners on Spotify and fan-favorite singles including “Sleep Well,” “I See a Dreamer,” “Dancin’,” “THX,” “Lonely King,” “4GET,” “Vibrant Eyes,” “Good To Be Alive,” “Listen To The Music,” and “Break Out The Box.” On TikTok, where he has over 5.2 million followers, his songs have inspired more than 7.6 million video creations. Charlie captivates fans with his original compositions, remixes, and covers inspired by viral memes, TV shows, original concepts, and video games such as Dream SMP, Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF), Cuphead, Among Us, etc. His YouTube channel found its stride in 2017, driven by the success of his FNaF tracks like “I Got No Time (Remix),” “Labyrinth,” and the Bendy and the Ink Machine-inspired track “Amen,” establishing him as a FNaF community pioneer. Simultaneously, his single “Absolutely Anything,” boasting over 7.2 million video creations, was hand-picked by Warner Music Group’s imprint label Spinnin’ Records for redistribution, in turn, marking the artist’s first commercial success. In 2026, Charlie won the fan-voted Webby Award for Individual Creator – Art, Culture & Music, and his storytelling now extends beyond music with Project U Move, an analog horror project he created.
On October 16, 2026, CG5 released GAMER, his second full-length album and his most personal project yet, via Virgin Music. True to his roots, each track is built around a favorite video game soundtrack, paired with glitchy, hyperpop-leaning production that marks a bold new chapter in his sound. The album includes the singles “I DON’T LIKE YOU,” “Fanatic,” “GO GO GO” with Ironmouse, and “Race To Win”. Now, Charlie is bringing the new album to the stage on The GAMER Tour, celebrating the release alongside the fan favorites that built one of music’s most devoted online communities.
