The School of Rock AllStars is an annual summer tour of the top students in the School of Rock network. Students from around the world audition to be a part of the AllStars.
The AllStars tour plays clubs that are regular stops on the US touring circuit and performed at Red Rocks, Lollapalooza, Hangout Music Fest, Mo Pop, NAMM, Gathering of the Vibes, Austin City Limits, etc. See attached for where the 2024 tour played.
The tour is promoted nationally through School of Rock’s marketing channels and locally through the area schools. We have local School of Rock house bands perform with the touring AllStars to fully integrate with the existing local marketing network. Touring AllStars and local School of Rock house bands alternate sets throughout the show. Everyone plays on one shared backline (the tour carries) and SoR crew/music directors ensure everyone gets on/off stage on schedule, so it runs smoothly.
Total running time is usually 3-3.5 hours. Preferred weekday timing is 6pm doors, 6:30pm show and 10pm end. The touring group is 25 performers (not all on stage at same time). The number of local performers varies based on the number of local School of Rock house bands performing.
